Theobroma bicolor

Macambo is a tree that grows in the tropics of Peru and Latin America. Its seeds are edible, energizing, rich in protein and fiber. They are also high in Omega 9 and Theobromine, an alkaloid with a stimulating effect that produces a sense of well-being.

It is an excellent snack that can be eaten as granola in yogurt, bathed in bitter chocolate, in vegetable or fruit salads and in desserts
